Anakin Skywalker

Anakin Skywalker

growed up to a Jedi Knight as he got trained by Obi-Wan Kenobi as Padawan.

Anakin was born into slavery as the son of the slave girl Shmi Skywalker.
He had to work for a scrap dealer named Watto on Tatooine until he was nine years old.
Anakin was considered the chosen one of an ancient Jedi prophecy
and was supposed to restore the balance of power.

Anakin was very talented in dealing with power during his training
and it was not uncommon for him to surpass Obi-Wans sentiment.
However, he also showed unsettling features: he frequently disregarded Obi-Wans instructions, often acted uncontrollably and emotionally, thereby putting himself and others in danger.

With his great love Padme Amidala he fathered two kids - Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa.
Later he became Darth Vader, a Sith and - also in his own ranks - a feared servant of the Emperor.

The first six films in the series deal in particular with Anakins turning away from the light side
and his turning to the dark side of power and his eventual redemption.

Anakin Skywalker was portrayed in Episode I by Jake Lloyd,
in Episodes II and III by Hayden Christensen,
and in Episodes IV-VI as Darth Vader by bodybuilder David Prowse,
but the face under the mask in Episode VI is that of Sebastian Shaw.

The original voice one hear of his later Ego, Darth Vader, is that of James Earl Jones.
That frighten unmistakable breathing sound was created by recording a divers regulator.
